Use: Magnolia bark (Magnolia officinalis) is a traditional Chinese medicine used since 100 A.D. The plant belongs to the Magnoliaceae family of herbs and has more than 200 related species under its fold.This herb is aromatic, pungent, warming and stimulating. Magnolia bark may have antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties and may be used to treat various inflammatory conditions, colds and flu.In addition, magnolia bark is said to promote sleep, support weight loss, stimulate the digestive system, protect against cancer, and reduce stress.Magnolol and honokiol are the two primary active phenolic constituents of magnolia bark Extract.
