Bamboo used for our Extrapone® is mainly cultivated in China. The shoots are extracted with methanol. During the following distillation the methanol is completely removed. The extract is prepared in a mixture of propylene glycol, water and butylene glycol and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Bamboo P contains the hydrophilic ingredients of approx. 200 g fresh shoots.
