| DIISOPROPANOLAMINE 99%
Odor: characteristic Use: Used as an emulsifying agent. Is an intermediate used in the production of dyes, lubrification oils, corrosion inhibitor, detergents and cutting fluids. It can neutralize pH, act as a buffer (stabilize pH), or add basicity (alkalinity) to a solution. Because diisopropanolamine is a good solubilizer of oil and fat, it is
frequently used to neutralize fatty acids and sulfonic acidbased surfactants. |
