Odor: charateristic Use: This unique multi-functional polymer delivers film-forming, fixative PLUS rheology modifying properties to your formulations, easily and predictably. Fixate PLUS polymer is a patent-pending, anionic acrylate copolymer. The unique structural design of this Alkali-Swellable Associative Polymer (ASAP) combines hydrophilic, semi-hydrophobic and hydrophobic components to deliver an optimized balance of properties. This unique combination leads to excellent hold and solubility; clear, uniform films with good adhesion; enhanced humidity resistance; and a smooth, natural feel on hair. The controlled hydrophobic association of this ASAP enables improved thickening efficiency, while maintaining smooth, clear, aesthetically-pleasing gels with shear-thinning rheology. |
